6 years in the future from this video here... Hangman's Alley keeps being called a decent place to build, however one of it's biggest flaws is that the navmesh for npc's only covers half of the already tiny area. so if you build anything interactive or assignable in those areas, they will simply not work and instead default to their starting location and will bunch up blocking most of the the rest of the tiny alley. So for a practical settlement it's pretty much useless. Sadly most of the Settlement tier guides or best places guide, ignore this massive issue, because, reasons?

The assign issue can't be fixed because it's not broken. You'll find that when you assign a task and the settler doesn't do it. If you fast travel anywhere upon or shortly after you arrive resources will begin to be assigned. Floating buildings are easy. You just use the block and tower pieces as they can be placed partially underground an easily click with floor pieces. I've recently resolved the pip boy readings issue. My settlements no longer show 2x population, 0 beds, 0 food, 0 power, or 0 water. I solved this as far as I can tell by putting much more space between beds and making sure people can move freely. Defence posts give you're settlers jobs if you don't want to mass produce food. I agree on the traps though

They pay named caravan merchants they could easily pay the Warrick farm to run the experiments for them. 6. Mayor Mcdonoough and the Institute disloyalty towards him. Despite the mayor being a good agent and loyal one 7. Broken Mask and CPG incidents. 8. There is no indication that you can change in meningful way the Institute despite being director. No stopping the supermutants or the kidnapping. Or how father react to you trying to be good during your reveal the Institute address

I’ve been using nuke cherry launchers on a rocket body for speed.

I know this is an 8 year old video, but does anyone have a similar analysis on the CR-74L creator’s club content for FO4? It’s essentially a lighter, full automatic only version of a combat rifle that can fire .45 and 5.56 rounds. I’m most interested in 5.56 weapons, because you only get the Assault Rifle in Vanilla FO4, and December’s Child with the Far Harbor DLC that can even fire 5.56 rounds. We don’t even get unique versions in Vanilla, so all we can do is roll the dice with Legendary effects.

UVHM gives you as much satisfaction as doing chores, homework or housework. It's just a total grind. I have finished but couldn't finish a few side missions mostly the kind that have waves of enemies. There's literally like 50% more guys and they have more HP. So you get way more, they do more damage, but they can take way more damage. The part that's annoying is that there are a lot more 'Badass' bosses of all types and some are easy but many are a grind. So many times you take them out and they literally drop NOTHING! The other annoying part was having enemies re-spawn after like 20 mins as it takes so long to grind through it. I get why people want to get to L61 and try out the UVHM but it's VERY DIFFICULT TO ENJOY after you had just finished the game 2x on easier settings. So you have to do the same thing again, however this time you'll be working your ass off just to clear out those really basic enemies that just keep spawning. Your guns are kinda crap and you really have to watch your ammo as those basic enemies will require literally 3-4 headshots to kill them while "Slagged" not without slag. Multiply those headshots by 5 (15-20 headshots) and you'd be about on pace. Once I finally got some better weapons it was much more enjoyable. That didn't happen until I had nearly finished the game but got a few Legendary's that really were an upgrade, the game became somewhat enjoyable. Go for it if you want, do it because you want to accomplish something, don't do it for fun.
